Before riding a spinning bike, it is important to adjust it to your height, as this directly affects the safety and effectiveness of your ride. Adjustments here include seat height, fore-aft distance, and handlebar height. Below is a quick and easy guide to tuning your bike.
1. First, find the adjustment knob for seat height;

2. Adjust the height of the seat cushion so that the surface of the seat cushion is flush with the waist.

3. Press the elbow against the front end of the seat cushion, and the forearm is parallel to the ground. At this time, the length of the forearm is a reasonable distance from the seat cushion to the handlebar. If the fingertip does not reach the handle position, the distance is too large (as shown in the figure below), and the front and rear positions of the seat cushion need to be adjusted;

4. Adjust the front and rear positions of the seat cushion so that the fingertips just touch the handlebar. If the forearm is not parallel to the ground at this time, the handlebar is too high;

5. Now, adjust the height of handlebar.

6. Until your arms are parallel to the ground, your elbows are just at the front of the seat cushion, and your fingertips are just across the handlebars (as shown in the picture).
Proper bike setup is important, as a low seat position can cause knee soreness and other injuries. Whether you are doing spinning at the gym or at home, you should adjust the proper position in advance and do enough warm-up and stretching exercises. Another very important point is the correct riding posture.
